1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Koden Code Lab (“Koden Code Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Until Payday mobile application (“Until Payday” or the “App”) and related support services.
By using Until Payday, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, you may stop using the App and remove it from your device.
2. Information You Enter Into Until Payday
Until Payday may allow you to enter financial and budgeting information so the App can provide its core functionality. Depending on the features you use, this information may include:
- Income amounts and income categories.
- Expense amounts, expense categories, dates, and descriptions.
- Payday dates or budgeting periods.
- Budget preferences, currency settings, and other financial-planning settings.
- Other information you voluntarily enter into the App.
3. Information We Collect
Until Payday is designed to function without requiring you to create a Koden Code Lab account. We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, banking credentials, transaction credentials, or payment-card details through the App’s budgeting features.
We also do not intentionally collect precise location information, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or other unrelated device content unless a future feature clearly asks for access and you choose to grant permission.
Information you provide when contacting us
If you contact Koden Code Lab for support or feedback, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message content, screenshots, diagnostic details, or other information included in your request. We use this information only to respond to you, provide support, investigate issues, improve the App, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. How Your Data Is Stored
Financial and budgeting data created in Until Payday is intended to be stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that is intended to receive or maintain the contents of your personal budget solely because you use the App.
Your device may independently include Until Payday data in backups, transfers, or synchronization performed by Apple or by services you have enabled at the operating-system level. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and by your device settings.
5. How We Use Information
Information handled by Until Payday may be used to:
- Provide budgeting, expense-tracking, income-tracking, and financial-planning features.
- Calculate balances, remaining income, spending summaries, trends, and other in-app insights.
- Remember your preferences and settings.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Maintain the security, reliability, and functionality of the App.
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable.
6. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Until Payday does not use your financial entries for targeted advertising and does not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
The App is not intended to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or advertising measurement purposes.
If a future version of Until Payday introduces analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or another service that materially changes how personal information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
7. Third-Party Services and Apple Services
Until Payday is distributed through Apple’s App Store and runs on Apple platforms. Apple may process certain information independently in connection with App Store downloads, purchases, subscriptions, device backups, diagnostics, or other Apple services. Apple’s handling of such information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and your Apple account and device settings.
If Until Payday offers an in-app purchase or subscription, payment information is processed by Apple. Koden Code Lab does not receive your full payment-card number or banking credentials from Apple.
8. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal financial entries with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary in circumstances such as:
- When you explicitly ask us to share or process information in a particular way.
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request.
- To protect the rights, safety, security, or property of users, Koden Code Lab, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the App or business, subject to applicable law.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally by Until Payday generally remains on your device until you delete it within the App, reset the relevant App data, or remove the App, subject to any backups maintained by your device or operating-system services.
If you contact us directly, we may retain your correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with legal requirements.
10. Your Choices and Controls
You control the information you enter into Until Payday. Depending on the features available in your version of the App, you may be able to edit or delete financial records directly from within the App.
You may also control device-level permissions, backups, notifications, and other system features through the Settings app on your Apple device.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of Until Payday to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no software, device, storage system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Because personal financial information can be sensitive, we recommend protecting your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other security features offered by your device.
12. Children’s Privacy
Until Payday is a personal-finance application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been provided to us in a manner that requires deletion under applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. International Users
Until Payday may be available in multiple countries or regions. Privacy and data-protection rights can vary by jurisdiction. Where applicable law grants you specific rights regarding personal information held by Koden Code Lab, you may contact us to exercise those rights.
Because core budgeting data is intended to remain on your device, Koden Code Lab generally does not possess the local financial records stored within the App and therefore may be unable to access, export, correct, or delete data that exists only on your device.
14. Financial Information and Advice
Until Payday is intended to assist with personal budgeting and financial organization. Information, calculations, projections, or insights provided by the App are for general informational purposes and should not be considered financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Until Payday, legal requirements, or our privacy practices. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we may provide additional notice within the App or through another appropriate method.
